ENGR. MD. MOZAMMEL HUQUE

Mr. Huque has been graduated from a reputed public university and joined in a private company in Dhaka. Then he received training from Malaysia and worked there. After that he had served in a large export-oriented factory in Dhaka. He joined in a multinational company named Bureau Veritas where he was the first Safety Assessor in Bangladesh & Pakistan. Then he was appointed by one of the largest buying cum trading company in the world- Li & Fung. In the tenure of Li & Fung, Mr. Huque was engaged in forming national initiatives on safety for Alliance for Bangladesh Worker Safety (the Alliance) and Accord for Building and Fire Safety (the Accord) as Li & Fung was in the advisory role for both. Many of the safety regulating sessions were contributed by him and few remarkable explanations/suggestions were well recognized by the industry-safety professionals. He is well known to safety industry in particular the Accord, Alliance and RCC. He was the only reviewer of newly developed Standard and Methodology for LABS (Life and Building Safety) from apparel brands’ side which is being implemented in other countries like Cambodia, Vietnam, India, Pakistan and other countries.

ENGR. MD. LIAKOT ALI KHAN

With 18 years of working experience, Mr. Khan was involved in various national and multinational companies. He started with Telecommunication technology and switched to United Arab Emirates (UAE) where he had received professional training on Designing of Electrical Systems. After that he joined in a multinational company named Bureau Veritas as the front liner Safety Assessor in Bangladesh. Then he was appointed by one of the largest buying cum trading company in the world- Li & Fung. After that he served in one of the big group of companies in Bangladesh as the head of Fire Safety. Then he joined another apparel brand based in Dhaka as a lead of engineering department. He has vast knowledge as well as experienced in relevant Codes & Standards on Fire and Electrical Safety. Many of the projects have been well accomplished by himself in apparel industries.

Mr. Khan has been graduated from a reputed public university of Bangladesh. In his career, he received many trainings from home and abroad on various topics and conducted a number of on-site and off-site training sessions in apparel industries. He has been certified on ISO 14001:2015 (Environment Management System) lead auditor and extensive Fire Safety professional program Fire Safety Manager course from the Fire Service and Civil Defense Authority (FSCDA). Mr. Khan also a guest trainer of SELF program of BKMEA.
